Two Men Castrated, Skinned, Dismembered and Left In Front of a Bar in Acapulco

Acapulco in the state of Guerrero is errrr… popular tourist destination in Mexico. I don’t think I’ll be making it my vacation destination anytime soon.

This happened on December 17, 2010. Remains of two men, both mutilated, castrated, decapitated, dismembered and skinned were deposited along with a message in front of a karaoke bar called Secret on the boulevard Vicente Guerrero in Acapulco.

It was reported that at around midnight, several cars came speeding across the bridge opposite the bar, stopped in front of the bar, fired gunshots into the bar’s front door and with patrons too afraid to come out, the men distributed around 25 body parts, flanked skinned heads with forearms and placed severed penis with balls inside each respective palm.

The men hanged two flayed skins from two heads on bar’s entrance tubes, weighted their narcomensaje down with severed body parts, spelled out word METRO with victim’s guts and left.

One of the victims was identified by a relative as 23 year old Jose Abel Rosas Mondragón. Don’t have the name of the other one.

Previous to the deposition of the body parts, an armed group of men stormed the bar and abducted as many as 11 people. The body parts are believed to belong to two of the abductees.

The sicarios left 2 narcomensajes. One only said “Atte El Metro“, which must be a nickname of someone these sicarios wanted to warn (which would also explain why they used the entrails to spell out his name). The other narcomensaje read the following:

Somos El Gato y El Gafe, esto nos paso por matar al tiendero del Sector 6 y El Vichi en el Tecate.

English translation:

We are The Cat and The Jinx. This happened to us because we killed the shopkeeper (presumed a valued gang member) in Sector 6 and El Vichi in El Tecate.
